Cancellation Policy

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION, NON-ATTENDANCE & LATE ARRIVALS

A booked appointment is time reserved for you during which treatment is available. If you want to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify me as soon as possible and be aware that at least 48 hours notice is preferable. You can do this by clicking on the link in the confirmation email sent to you when you booked the appointment, or in the reminder email sent to you 48 hours before your appointment. This will take you to the online scheduler, Acuity, where you can then choose a new day/time. It is not possible to cancel or reschedule online less than 24 hours before your appointment. Alternatively, Sarah's mobile number is 07971 870978 and receives voicemail and texts 24 hours a day (though don't expect a speedy response out of office hours). A note will be made of the time of the text or message.

Please be aware that the following cancellation policy applies, and 24 hours advance notice is required. You will be charged for the full cost of your appointment which is payable prior to your next appointment should you:

  • cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours’ advance notice

  • not attend an appointment

  • arrive so late that it is not possible to treat you

Please aim to arrive 5 minutes before your appointment so you can relax, your pulse can be effectively assessed and to be fair to other clients. If you arrive late for your appointment your session may be shortened to enable the next appointment to start on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment I will have to determine if there is enough time to treat you effectively during the remaining time of your appointment. Regardless of the length of treatment session given, you will be responsible for paying for the full session.

Free Strike Policy

We do recognise that “life” sometimes happens and therefore we have a policy of allowing one opportunity to:

-      cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours’ advance notice, or

-      not attend an appointment, or

-      arrive so late that it is not possible to treat you without incurring a penalty

This is a “free-strike” and it means that we will re-book you for another appointment without you incurring any further charge. However, once you have used your free strike, the full cost of the appointment is payable on all subsequent appointments. This is done as a courtesy and we would ask you to respect the time put aside for you, and that late cancellations and non-attendance often mean that a client on the waiting list cannot take advantage of the “vacated” appointment.

The Acuity booking system securely vaults your credit/debit card payment details. By booking your appointment you are agreeing to the automatic charging of your payment card in accordance with the terms and conditions of Healing Partners Limited.

Please understand that appointment reminders are a courtesy. In the event that we are unable to contact you, you are still responsible for attending your appointment at your allotted time.

By booking each appointment you have confirmed that you have read and agreed to accept these terms and conditions, that you understand the cancellation policy and that it is your responsibility to plan appointments accordingly.
